Fall weddings are beautiful in every sense of the word and Danielle’s was certainly no exception. She married the love of her life on the historic golf course of Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club. It was picture perfect…literally. As the couple said their vows, the sun began to set, giving the sky a golden glow.
If you read our last blog, on how light affects makeup, you’ll know why we chose the shadow colors we did. Since the fall lighting is a little more golden, we wanted to stay away from any colors that have a hint of blue in them. The neutral colors we chose have golden undertones, which accentuate the shadows. These colors were also great in making Danielle’s eyes pop.
Use Soba on the lower lid and blend into the crease. In the crease line you will use Brun, blending it with Soba and Saddle, which is used in both the crease and slightly above. On the inner lid, you’ll use Honesty. We also used Shroom, by Mac, under her brow for highlighting purposes. Use Blacktrack liner, by Mac, close to the lash line. This brings definition to the eyes without over-powering them. For Danielle’s look, we also added single lashes.
